Welcome to the Small Dog Division of NCRR

North Carolina Rottweiler Rescue (NCRR) not only rescues Rottweilers but also other breeds of dogs when able.  NCRR does not receive free vet care and depends on the generosity of the public for donations and on adoptions to continue to rescue the lives of unwanted dogs.

We received a call recently about a large number of small dogs needing help with finding forever homes.

NCRR recruited foster homes for the small breed dogs and rescued them from the shelter.

NCRR decided to create a separate web page dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of our small dog division.

Daisy

Picture
This Miniature Pincher is a prime example of why NCRR exists... to help all dogs find a loving forever home!

There is no reason why Daisy should still be alive.

Daisy is a Min Pin estimated to be approximately 1 1/2 yrsold.  She currently weighs 6 lbs.  You can see her hip bones in the picture.

Read about Daisy and follow her recovery from open heart surgery performed on July 17 by Dr. Kevin Monce, Pet Sound Hospital in Cary, NC.

Her current vet bill is $1750 due to open heart surgery.  Please consider making a tax deductible donation to her surgery fund via Paypal or by check via snail mail.
